We had a fairly big week this week smashing out 140 squares of #charcoal for #dlwconstructions in #Mitcham. We also prepared and poured some small reinstatement works in #knoxcitycouncil earlier in the week and finished it off with a vehicle crossing removal and relocation. First job back for the year after a much needed break. After nearly a week of fairly large days on our #Ringwood project we have finally reached the end. Over 200m2 of #exposedaggregate around a house with over 20 tonne of #crushedrock pushed in by hand due to access issues and we are at the finish line. Washed off the final pour this morning and smashed out some asset replacement. DISCLAIMER:
It is imperative that all of our clients are aware that concrete is designed to crack. We saw cut crack control joints to encourage cracking along them. Our placement of steel reinforcing ensures that if cracks do appear on the surface, they are harmless and the concrete is structurally sound.
